Admissions process

Qualified applicants are accepted as laboratory facilities and/or supervisory faculty become available.

Before applying to the program, look into the research conducted by our faculty members. Contact the faculty member whose research interests correspond with your interest.

  • Faculty Research Programs
  • Nutrition Graduate Faculty
  • Food Science Graduate Faculty

Note: It is the responsibility of the applicant to find a faculty advisor.
A Nutrition or Food Science Graduate Faculty member must agree to serve as the student’s advisor or the application is denied, regardless of the qualifications of the applicant.

It can take approximately one week for your application to be processed once submitted.  When your application is processed an ID number (UIN) will be generated for you.  This UIN will be used to access AIS and Howdy.

Your application will not be reviewed until it is complete.
