Changing Your Major to Nutrition

To change your major to Nutrition:

1. Have at least a 2.5 overall GPR at Texas A&M for Nutrition. (GPR requirements are non-negotiable)

2. For Nutrition, have successfully completed (Grade of ā€œCā€ or better) Chem 101/111 (CHEM 119 beginning Fall 2019) and 102/112 (CHEM 120 beginning Fall 2019) (preferred to have BIOL 111 and both core math courses successfully completed, also). 

3. Must have completed at least 12 hours at Texas A&M to be considered for change of major. BLINN/TEAM must have completed at least 10 hours at TAMU in order to be a candidate for Change of Major.

4. Generally students with 70 or more semester credit hours will not be allowed to change majors into the Department of Nutrition.

*All students wishing to apply for double major or double degree must have a 3.0 overall GPR at Texas A&M University in addition to the above mentioned criteria.
