Professional Summary
The long-term goal of my lab is to better understand the gut-brain interactions in the context of aging and chronic diseases, and to identify interventions to preserve functions and promote healthy aging. I am building up a research program utilizing multi-omics, integrative physiology, cellular biology and neurobehavioral approaches to examine host-microbe interactions in a range of health conditions and diseases.
