Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics

The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics is our field’s national organization, representing more than 112,000 credentialed nutrition and dietetics practitioners. The Academy aims to accelerate improvements in global health and well-being through food and nutrition.

The Texas affiliate of the Academy is focused on helping Texans improve and manage their health. As members, students are invited and encouraged to attend and network with local dietitians at area, regional and state meetings.

The Texas Student Dietetic Association (TSDA) is the undergraduate student branch of the Texas Academy. TSDA provides an excellent opportunity to network with fellow DPD students and serve at the state level.
